E 'for about three weeks that one of my favorite distro has been released in the latest version of the 5 (codename Elyssa).

The most important new (besides the fact that as you know is based on Ubuntu 8.04) are an improved management interface installation and management software with MintInstall and MintUpdate and a very useful feature (it seems that I have read my mind!) della quale spesso nei sistemi con sudo se ne sente la mancanza, cioè la possibilità di lanciare un file browser che abbia le proprietà di root, utilissima per i newby ma anche MOLTO pericolosa:

You can now open a folder as root by right-clicking on that folder and by selecting "Open as root". This is a powerful but also a dangerous feature. A warning message will remind you that you're in root mode, a file browser called XFE will appear (the reason for it not being Nautilus is precisely because it looks different. This way you can associate the different look and feel with the fact that this application is run as root). From there on you've got unlimited powers so be careful because everything you launch from XFE, you launch as root.

Attention guys, root can do anything ..... irreparably also delete system files or directories full mp3 of those who have both struggled to find .....
In general it's a distro that most fascinates me for its special menu and its graphical themes always very beautiful.
